“I can’t believe its three month already.” Cathie said, looking across the table at her husband
Herrick shrugged “Time flies.”
“I agree.” Mrs. Rose said from her side of the table, she took biscuit from her plate and bite
“The couples would be here any time from now.”
True to Mrs. Rose’s words they heard the rearing sound of a car as it headed toward the building. They were silence, looking at each other, then as if on agreement they abandon their breakfast and rushed outside, just in time the car stopped.
The back door flung open and Josh slide out, followed by his wife.
“Oh my!” Cathie exclaimed teasingly, hugging Josh then Stella “It is three month already? I haven’t started missing you guys.”
“We decided to spend three weeks!” Josh said with sarcasm.
They were hugs, kisses and wishes as they went inside the house. The driver dropped their luggage’s on the porch and turned around.
They sat in the living room as the chatted and tried to catch up for the time spent apart.
“This honeymoon really did you good, your face is all fatten up.” Cathie said to Stella you look so fresh like a baby, I could hardly recognize you!”
Stella’s eye widen, she patted her cheeks “Really?”
They laughed
“I bet Josh looked after you well.” Herrick said.
Stella flushed.
Josh cleared his throat “We are for three month and things changed, I even saw a building on the other side.”
“Really?” Herrick said with fake alarm “Where? We are not aware.”
Josh pulled his head back and frown, starring from Cathie to Herrick, then he smiled “Okay, you got me.”
Both Cathie and Herrick shrugged.
“Well, that building is a house.” Cathie said
“It’s yours” Herrick said “It’s a gift.”
They was silence, then comprehension dawned
“Oh my God!” Stella said loudly, she stood up from her sit “You are joking right?”
“I can’t freaking believe this.” Josh said standing up too, he held his wife’s hand and all but ran outside toward the new building.
Mrs. Rose and Herrick followed them at slower pace; Cathie all but went upstairs to check on her children.
