POV
"Jason I need to tell you something." Kay said as soon as Lacey and I walked into our house. I held my beautiful daughter in my arms I looked at her.
"Baby go get ready for bed, I'll be right up to tuck you in" I tell her putting her on the floor, she quickly ran up the stairs.
"What's going on?" I asked her.
She led me into the living room and sat on the sofa.
"My father called me. Or the man I thought was my father. I don't know but Martin called me" She says quickly, she spoke so fast I barely got what she was saying
"What did he want?" I asked
I needed to get rid of Martin. The old geyser was nothing but trouble.
"Money..." she says softly lowering her head as if she was ashamed.
