Why There Was No r**e: Things were becoming stickier and nastier for women day by day. Men were getting bolder, wilder and crueller. New rules were being implemented at work places that ensured that whatever dignity women had was being washed off. Women were forced to accept degradation or face potential ruin. The few men who protested the dastardly treatment were either relegated to unimportant positions or fired. This stopped any kind of resistance from men. Some of those who were dissatisfied with the current policies adopted by the management would leave. But since this was the same in almost 90% of the institutions, many men who did not like this were forced to continue due to lack of opportunities. One such man was Manoj Kalvakurthi. Manoj had been born in the village of Ksheerapalle, Saptagiri Mandal in Dhurjati District. He had lost his parents at a young age and had been brought up by his grandparents. By the time he had graduated he had lost his grandfather. A few months after he joined his first job as a branch manager of Soumitri Bank, Ailapuram branch, he had lost his grandmother. So as a bachelor he had tried to implement the principles that his grandparents had drilled into his brain since his childhood. He had been a well respected man till the current laws had been passed. As the branch manager, he had postponed implementing the new laws as much as he could. He had had to withstand a lot of pressure from his bosses at the Regional, Zonal and National Head Quarters. Still he had braved it all acting as a shield for the lady staff in his branch. He had also gone so far as to provide them a secure transport to and from the office. He had also strongly f*******n the male staff to do anything disrespectful towards the female staff. When he did not give in to threats – life and career, the top brass had decided to send him to a remote branch that had only three staff – himself, and clerk-c*m-cashier and an office attendant. The new manager had vigorously implemented the new laws making the life of the female staff a living hell. He had also rejected the mass resignations of the female staff subjecting them to innumerable acts of depravity. He had also received special approval from the Mandal OSD to make sure the female staff did not dare to resign. A few female staff who had dared to resign and sit at home rather than face the humiliation at work had been declared PP forcing the remaining lady staff to bite the humble pie. Despite growing discount and resentment for the way they were treated at work, they had been forced to continue working. Most of these women were either the sole bread winners in their family or had precariously balanced financial backgrounds that prevented them from resigning. So the men had started doing what they liked with the women. The only thing that was stopping the men from r**e was the strict action of the police against rapists. Despite the discriminatory and derogatory laws against women, the government had also brought in laws that gave severe punishments for r**e. The r****t would be shot by the police outside the court that had convicted the accused. Most of the punishments for r**e were very painful and the convict would die a long painful death. Since punishment was swift, unavoidable and unappealable, it sent shivers down the spine of habitual rapists. Shoolam was a popular punishment for r**e. The convict was placed on top a pole with a sharp pointed tip. As the convict slowly slid down the pole, the tip would go in him finally piercing his head. This kind of punishment deterred men from committing r**e. Rape was defined as a s****l i*********e with a female who was neither wife nor a Public Property. Since the courts, police and the public were provided with book that had a list of the females who were Public Property along with their photographs, it was easy to convict and punish rapists. The only problem with this law was that women could misuse this law to exact revenge against men. So this law had been carefully hidden from the women. Hence men were careful to confine themselves to their wives or PP. Polygamy was allowed, so men started marrying multiple women though they did not always take care of them well. Most of the time it was for making love and not because they needed a life partner. This had reduced the r***s in the kingdom to almost 0% but the s****l harassment had increased against women. No one considered it harassment anymore. They felt it was their birth right to play with women whether they liked it or not. Women were kept away from anything that even could remotely help them to reverse the situation. This included keeping them away from computers and smart phones. The women were allowed only basic phones that had only voice call feature. The only form of entertainment for women was the television that telecast movies and television series that glorified men and portrayed women as servants and inferior to men. Within ten years of the laws being passed a new generation of boys and girls was being created that believed the new mores of the society. More and more countries were passing similar laws turning the world slowly pro-male. Despite the misogyny, there was zero r**e causing some of the r**e victims and many other women to actually welcome the new laws. Hence resistance to the laws was less but the women were getting restless with the creative ways in which men were degrading the women.  The zero r**e condition in the society had also resulted in the increase in the number of young women being declared PP. many underaged girls had also been declared PP by many OSDs meaning there were many boys and men eagerly waiting for those girls to come of age. as soon an underaged PP was of age, there would be an auction to pop her cherry. Millions of Imperial Gold Coins changed hands during this auction. Rich, powerful men got to "taste fresh Goods". This left those unfortunate girls having nightmares. Since forced s****l assault on PPs was not considered r**e, many women and girls who were declared PPs had to go through the worst time of their lives. They led lives worse than those of s*x workers. At least the latter earned money. The PPs could not charge money for their 'services'. The Empire provided for the PPs nullifying the need for money. p**********n had been declared legal providing more options of enjoyment for men. Men who could not afford to spend money or those who did not want to spend money for a lovemaking practice would go to a PP.
