S01 EP14: Light

Upon the departure of the palace's Seven Defenders to head on their way to fulfill their mission of expedition and find the Seven Spirits, Light went back inside the gates of the town. On his way back to the palace, he wasn't focusing nor paying attention to his surroundings. Town's people are greeting him but he seem distant and just walking pass through them. The eyes of every town's people and the guardians are following him even if Light is walking away. Little that they didn't know that Light's mind was occupied by the thoughts of worries, fear and he is overthinking of what could possibly happen of Diablo's army breaching the palace.

(Light is looking straight ahead)

Light: These people... They didn't know...

(Light having flashbacks with the oldman)

Light: I am the only one who can fight the incoming possible threats.

(Light ia visualizing m******e at the town)

Light: But...

(Light stops walking and looks up to the statue of Xavier)

Light: I will save as many as I can.

(Light kneeled infront of the statue)

Light: Dad... Mom... Sooner or later... I'll be with you both and finally, we will be reunited once again.

(Light stands up and teleported to the palace entrance)
