Rose We walked through the mountain pass. I looked at Crispen again in disbelief. ‘Are you sure?’ I ask him, hoping there is some doubt. He nods his head, ‘he was there for many reasons, but that was clearly the most important one.’ I couldn’t believe that the little girl I saved, the sweet child I’d come to know these past few days, was the daughter of monsters.
