Mason and Logan walked ahead of everyone else. I was still unsure about this journey that Mason had. I wasn't well versed in my knowledge of Sirasin's. We had Stella, and from what I knew, she was somewhat of a Sirasin herself, but what that meant on a grand scale was never made clear.
'Do you believe any of this?' I ask Rose.
'Crispen, at this point, I barely know what to believe anymore.' Her response resonated with me. It was fair to say that our lives have been turned upside down in the last few months. Falling in love with a human, almost watching Mason get executed, getting married, losing our homes, losing our fathers, traveling with a human, looking for a lost city, traveling with the daughter of my sworn enemy, and now Mason's spiritual journey to add to it all.
