"Director Prescott, you might be able to manipulate public opinion, interfere with the judicial process, and even get certain witnesses to change their statements." I gave him a cool, unwavering stare. "But you've forgotten one thing: we're living in the digital age now." I pulled out my phone. Every single word of our conversation just now, including your offer of five hundred thousand dollars in hush money, is all recorded right here, word for word.
