[Irene’s POV]
“Do you really trust him, Irene?” Ryu said.
“Do I have an option?” I said.
“I will come with you,” Ryu said. “I will be with you on this whole journey.”
“But you said you didn’t want to get out of here. Stay here and don’t spoil the fun for me, Ryu,” Virgil said in a serious tone.
“Come even an inch close to Irene and I will chop off your limbs and bury you alive,” Ryu said, his eyes glowing. Virgil towered over Ryu with his eyes turning darker.
“Tsk!” Virgil snarled. “Whatever. I just want to get out of this f*****g hell.”
Like that I showed the two of them the way to the Amare pond which I remembered through Fenrir’s light I had been leaving behind as marks.
The three of us emerged out of the pond. No one was around us. It was night time.
