[Ryu’s POV]
A second I was holding Irene tightly in my arms and the other she was sucked up by the whirlpool.
Before I could even think, I saw Virgil dive straight into the whirlpool that sucked in Irene.
Black whips winged out from his back and wrapped itself around his and my pegasus’ necks.
“Pull us up when I tug twice on my whips!” His voice faded along with his sight.
Virgil’s pegasus flew closer to me while I grabbed the whip.
Two minutes passed, but no sign of either of them. The whirlpool behind me was activated again and headed towards me.
“Fast. Fast. Fast. Come on! Virgil! Damn! Damn! Damn!”
