"Eva, are you feeling upset?"
"Huh?" She looked at him, slightly surprised, while their running slowed.
They both tried to match their step rhythm.
"I mean, Ella told me that you don't like to stay alone! And she needs to go on a business trip for a whole month! How do you feel about that!?" His eyes always focused on her face while she averted her gaze from him and looked straight before answering him.
"Yes! Mom is right! I hate being alone! And yes, I'm a little sensitive! Because mom is the only one I have now!" His eyes softened at her words, and he understood their meaning very well.
