Bad decisions
"Where to begin?", I sat next to Jinx.
"From the beginning", she moved closer to me in anticipation.
"Well-"
"What's happening here?", Charlotte came back into the kitchen with the meat.
"Oh, Jinx and I are having a discussion"
"A discussion about?"
"Everything, we've sort of gotten past the Xayvion situation"
"Really? And how did that go", she walked to the stove and put the meat on the kitchen counter.
"I explained to her that nothing has happened between Xayvion and me and nothing will ever happen", Jinx replied.
"Yeah, that's pretty much it", I confirmed.
"So you two are friends now?"
"Hoping to be, but first, trust has to be established, right?", Jinx looked at me.
"Yes, most definitely, but it won't take long for a bond to be made", I smiled.
