Dark Days
Dax's death happened too quickly for any of us to register, we stood by his lifeless body hoping he would wake up, hoping it was all a nightmare and we'd wake up and find him.
Xayvion was taking it the hardest, we were all grieving but Xayvion was on an entirely different level, the rain had gotten worse, we all retreated to our cabins expect Xayvion, he laid on Dax's body and cried loudly, my chest hurt from seeing him in so much pain.
I held Xenia as she cried, she too was having a hard time, she never knew her biological father and the only father she knew had just been killed in the most inhumane way, the only comfort I had was the devil's responsible for his death were taken care of, I still don't know how but it doesn't matter.
We all cried till nightfall, the next day
