I stopped a few steps from the double-winged opened door to the lively event. My chest was burning and squeezing. I was having a hard time catching my breath. Something inside of me was telling me that he wasn't joking. He wasn't messing around with me like he usually did. His words seemed and sounded too real to be true. It was making me sick. Why would he do that? Why would he ask about my future when I didn't even want to know it? "Ariadne!" Hearing my name snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned around to see Gabriel coming back with Theo. He had a new suit and his hair was messier than before. Theo's face on the other hand looked quite upset, while Gabriel was smiling. At least until he came close enough to see me properly. His feet moved faster and faster, he was running. He stopped
