“Good morning, Ariadne. Did you sleep well?” I opened my eyes, hearing Gabriel’s voice. The mattress moved down a bit under his body as he sat down next to me. I pulled the blanket over my head, wanting to sleep more. But Gabriel decided to not let me drift off to the land of dreams again.
“You have to get ready, they managed to pull off a serious stunt. They changed the board meeting to the morning! You have to get going,” he was trying to sound soft and concerned. I growled.
“Someone’s decided to become a wolf?” He jokingly asked me and kissed my forehead.
“Get up and get ready. We need to seriously get going in a while. If you don’t get up, I’ll have to pick you up and bring you there in this state and clothes. I bet you’d definitely win the seat like that!” He was mocking me. Right
