Time can trap you, I thought, wind around the things as transparent as the glass and as strong as steel and before you know it, you're caught, just like this little doll here, out in my mouse trap.
"Let my hair go!" screamed the doll while I waited with eagerness to see the poor little ghost doll caught in my very hands as I held up its hair.
"What do you want?" asked the doll which was kind of what the question I was expecting for, but I wanted to last the fun, so..
"What I want can wait, first tell me what the hell do you want?" I asked towards the doll to which it remained silent. "Not a talker huh?" I asked when one of the cultist came on to call to me.
"Maybe we should proceed with what we want, it's for the best, for your friend's safety at least." said the cultist, and to be honest, he was right, I didn't know what type of shape Kinze was in, so, it felt right that I ask about her, instead of having fun, now that I caught the ghost into its own trap.
Jeez, for a second I wondered, "Why would the ghost care so much about its hair?" But then the thought came back to me, it was a ghost, so, there's no explaining science about it, why bother then?
"Where is Kinze? the one you took?" I asked out directly to which the doll didn't want to respond at first, so it lend its hands as a form of peace offering, or maybe it wants something?
"The hair first, she will be yours next." said the doll while it seemed like bargaining for it, for me? Nah, I wouldn't trust a ghost with my toffee, how the hell will I trust her safety with the only winning hand I now possess.
"Deal's off dumbass, give me Kinze first, then you can have your hair, and that's all, the final." I said to which the ghost remained isolated for a few seconds, but as it return back to conscious, like hustling wind equipped by a speedster, it ran forth and came back with the hostage she took, Kinze herself, and despite the tortures and the abuse she was put through, she was alive which shocked me.
"Damm, this girl." I thought.
"Give it, now!" yelled the doll as I was gonna pass out the hair, but just as I was about to pass out, guns can't spiralling down on the doll from behind to which I jumped aside for cover to dodge bullets coming in from nowhere.
While the doll dropped down, recovered on its strength and ran forth, I was able to lit up the match on its hair once I was able to free Kinze from her binds, which caused a outrage to flow within the body of the doll which also starts infuriating in flames.
"You .. b***h!" it said, looking at behind, and with another shot fired at her, what sounded like from a shotgun shell, I was certain on how exactly the saviour of our day would be.
"Tulio." I said as I smiled while the cultists were behind me, awaiting out as I dragged Kinze's body to their side and safety.
"Take care of her, I'll be back." I said as I came bustling down from the cover with guns open, firing directly at that son of a Mitch.. yes.. I said Mitch, not.. ughh.. nevermind
"Take down, what are you waiting for?" yelled Dwayne with half foot on his left leg, that's it, he did take the foot after all.
"What do you think I'm doing? I'm firing all I can!" yelled Austin who keeps shooting down at the doll, and despite the damage it takes, the doll proceeds to move closer and closer with all injures of itself healing away with every hit.
"This is useless! it's like the bullets mean nothing to it." said Dwayne. "We're gonna need some more firepower!" yelled Austin.
"I have all the firepower we need for that!" yelled Tulio, riding from the south, like a valiant knight, only with a knit of explosives which he triggers and throws at the doll instead of a shield.. He didn't, because he's no.. wait, I shouldn't mention his name, should I? Nope, moving on.
"Take that, you sick s**t!" yelled Tulio pressing off at the trigger again, but unfortunately it doesn't work, as it appears to be rigged.
"s**t!" yelled Tulio.
"Not to worry!" I yelled as I leaped from the side, with only a few distance in between me and the doll as it tried to mash at my face, which I luckily avoided, but at a cost as it hit my arm so hard I went spinning across the hall as I got thrown away.
"Tokyo!" yelled the love of my life as he abandoned his safe post and came riding forth to my rescue, but due to the distance between me and him, I was out as I knocked my head out to which I dropped.
"No, no, no, Tokyo, Tokyo, you still there? Tokyo!" yelled Tulio trying to make me wake up with slap, after a few, I was awake as I held up his hand by one inch. "You... might wanna cover your ears." I whispered when the grenade I was able to plant in on the doll blasted, exploding all rigged explosives with it while giving us all one hell of a light show when we all saw.
"H.. how?" asked Tulio to which I chuckled.
"The grenade, I had a last one.." I whispered as the doll was burning away right in front of our eyes. "Job well done, I'm glad it was over." said Tulio.
"It isn't over yet, not by a long shot." I said whilst I was awake. "Yaay! take that, b***h!" yelled Austin in excitement after taking the monster down. "Who the hell was that?" I asked.
"Austin, you're gonna love him." said Tulio, I would have said him who I love then and there, but the time wasn't right, and frankly, we've been through hell, we need a break, I thought.
"Kinze, she's in the back, go check on her." I said. "Of course, hey guys! it's Kinze, she's in the back, can you.." said Tulio before getting interrupted by Dwayne as he steps aboard. "Yeah, I'll get her, don't worry." said Dwayne while he walked like a uniped.
"What's wrong with the way he walked?" I asked towards Tulio. "It's another good news too." said Tulio. "I heard that." replied Dwayne while he walked.
Anyways, as time passed, one by one, we were all able to gather up towards the other end of the way through the maze, thanks to Dwayne's left foot, he wasn't happy about it, but it got us through.
As we were heading towards the left side throughout few sides, we finally came towards the end of the exit, just then, even Kinze woke up from being unconscious. "Wh.. what's going on? where.. Dwayne?" asked Kinze. "Evening sunshine, how you doing?" I asked.
"Wait.. is.. this, this can't be real, last I checked, I was in.." said Kinze while I walked across her, and laid the necklace which I found on the neck of the doll prior.
"Is that?" asked Kinze before getting interrupted by me. "From your nightmare, Peccant.. isn't that what you called him?" I asked to which tears flood down from her eyes quick.
For a little while, we all took a moment as a break, with Kinze laying down on me as a hug, while others escaping from sins of their own.
"It was.. I bought it after my sister died, I was.. jealous of it, of her, I didn't know it possessed the real soul of my sister, but I acted like it, and it became real, they were gonna send me to a mental hospital, until they saw it themselves... I still can't believe what I did so many years ago, would come back to get at me, I didn't think it was possible, it's just.." said Kinze as I shushed her.
"It's alright, the past is long gone now, we were here, and we fought it together, that's all it matters." I said, and even though it wasn't reassuring as Tulio's speech was when we got here, Kinze found the comfort we need, and just then, like ghost from the past, the rest of the cultists too, arrived.
"Who the hell are those guys?" asked Austin.
"Who are you first?" I asked. "I am Austin, I just told you who I am." said Austin. "Yeah, I know, I was just gonna push your buttons." I said while I approached the cultists. "You did it Tokyo, you found your way out, as promised, I am proud of you." said the little kid. "Well, I had help, thank you." I replied to which the kid nodded in approval.
"So, now that you're free, you can join us if you wish." I suggested, and like a dog leaning to eat his cereal, he turned my offer down with that look. "I'm afraid, that won't be possible, I'm sorry." said the little kid.
"Why not?" I asked. "We once came here, as guests to play on Mr Manavi's invitation, but we were trapped, betrayed from the hold of the world, as we became history from mystery. I've spoken with my men, even if we proceed onwards with you towards the end of the game, we would still die, the moment we step out of here." said the little kid.
"That's not true, if so, how would you know?" I asked to which he smiled.
"You're not the first to come in here Tokyo, there were others who crossed here too, the woman who returned back here after crossing through levels, my sister, she was certain of her husband's death as he departed through the exit, and it is why, she sent her back in." said the little kid.
"Wait what? Why didn't you tell this before?" I asked. "There was no need for it before, but now, there is, and moreover, as we lived in here over the years, our people have begun to grow fond of the life in here, we are always met with the perfect weather, we are never hungry, nor sleepiness, it is the perfect life for us." said the little kid.
"If you think this is the perfect life for you, then you need help, you know it." I said to which he chuckled. "Perhaps I do, or I might not, it remains to be unseen." said the little kid.
