Skylar sighed as David left her. She looked into her coffee mug as the steam wafted up her nose.
She took a big gulp of it. Other she wolves were looking in her direction and giggling. The Luna's comment was loud enough for the whole pack to hear, even the ones that weren't present in the kitchen. Skylar went pink up to her ears with embarrassment. 'Am I ready for that step with David?' she thought to herself, but then she remembered what the Luna had said.
'god....David's mother!' Skylar then began to panic. She had only met the women once. 'what do I say? How do I act?' she closed her eyes. She resolved herself to go for a barefoot walk to get some grounding.
