Darla couldn't deny the fact that Jake was really handsome maybe even hot, she was happy that he was talking to her but then why is he talking to her? wasn't she supposed to be that weird girl that nobody liked and that was always lonely?
"are you okay?"Jake said bringing her back to reality.
"yeah no am fine I just have to go now"
"now?"
"yeah!, I have this thing.... that, I,I want to do and I just have to, ..you know,clear my phone "she starts to say random stuff
"your phone?"
"yeah! crazy right?"and then she runs off to where she left Amy
"Amy!!"she says before she could sit down
"what the hell Darla! are you trying to kill me?"
"I just met a real life Greek god and he thought my eyes were pretty, and that I was hot and sexy and.... and I..I just...I ran,he was, he was cool,...he ..he... he,my...oh my gosh Amy.."
"breathe, come on deep breaths " Amy says and Darla takes in deep breaths
"are you Calm now?"
"uh huh" Darla nods
"so you met a cute guy who called you pretty and flirted with you "

"that's nice, that's good! so did you flirt back?"

"oh good lord "Amy says "seriously Darla?
"I didn't know what else to do okay? I was nervous and it was suspicious,he, he even did the triangle thing on me"
" shut up!"

" why didn't you just talk and get to know him?"
"I don't know why Darla,or maybe it's because of Daniel"
"uhuh nope! am not having this talk with you again,no way!"She gets up to leave
"come on don't leave"
"leave Daniel alone,am not saying anything more "

they head to their various class as the next bell is about to ring.
That day after school,as always Darla spends the rest of the day with Amy at her house, she even helped Amy to pick an outfit for the party.
"this looks really good on you, but light makeup though "
"thank you,are you sure you don't want to come? it's not too late to reconsider"
"nah,am good"
"okay then"
"it's getting late,I should be on my way home now "
"won't you stay for dinner?"
"no not today" Darla smiles
"alright then, let me walk you out"
