"Tell me everything Nolan said back there wasn't true," Jules yelled the moment they got into the house and the door slammed shut behind them.
"It was true." Ethan replied flatly.
Jules turned to him, more stunned than angry at this point.
He didn't even try to deny it.
Jules stared him straight in his brown eyes. They were serious and so was she.
Her voice was barely a whisper. "What is true?"
Ethan stepped closer to her, his voice calm. "Everything. Every damn thing he said."
"You can't be serious." She scoffed, struggling to believe her ears. "So what you're saying is. This marriage is a lie? You only married me so you could get your pound of flesh for some s**t Nolan did to you?"
"No, no." He placed his hands on her shoulders, looking her straight in her eyes. "You've got it
