And now Evie had been nagging him daily about how they needed to leave immediately. Everything was suddenly falling apart at once. But none of them was compared to what he was staring at on his phone. It was a text. From Ethan. “We need to meet. I have something you’d really be interested in.” This looked like a trap staring straight at him. But still, there was this urge to honor the invitation.
