“What charity is it for?” my voice rang through the speakers on the tv the next morning.
“Who the f**k cares,” Kingsley’s response came, drawing disapproving looks from the hosts of the morning talk show.
“I do, and you should as well,” I replied, my voice sounding frustrated.
“God, you’re so f*****g boring,” Kingsley sighed, making the female host purse her lips in anger.
“We just received that recording a few minutes ago, and I’m sure that’s the first time most of you will be hearing it,” the male host stated.
“Yes, and it’s pretty clear from what we just heard that Kingsley Hall might have made a habit of talking down to his wife Grace,” the woman added. “It definitely sheds some new light on Grace’s accusations against her husband.”
