I'm no ordinary lady

Akin wore a laid back look to his face "so you want me to play the hero in this world i do not Know?", he spoke out into the dark background

"yes",a voice replied firmly

Akin smiled in defeat, "alright, since you planned on sending me there either way, it's best i get something from it, so, I'm in"

The ground beneath his feets opened up swallowing him, he fell through the darkness and light.

Nok state

He caught the gaze of the creature and it's prey, akin approached the creature faster than he could apprehend, he delivered a punch that sent it flying leaving the girl at akins feet with her eyes pacing to grab a hold of the situation

"I'm guessing you and that aren't buds","what is that anyway?" he asked her

She stayed lost in the situation, akin positioned in a squat, he flicked his fingers across her face pulling her back into reality, "what? Creature got your tongue",he teased in his usual smile

She took control of herself and but remained in a state of fright, "no, we have to warn the people at the Town", she urged him

He looked around at the corpses spread around, his eyes showed a hint of sadness, "what is that thing?"

His question added a bit of annoyance to her surprise, "what do you mean "what is that thing", did you lose your memories or do you not know what's going on in the world?," she said in an elevated tone,"

Relaxed Akin Turned from her annoyed multi emotional filled eyes & looked at the direction at which the creature was sent flying apprehensively, "Now that you mention it, i am getting some flashes, that's a KEJI right?"

She nodded in agreement to his question, "hmm" she said, "which means we've already been scouted", "we should go now", she urged him

She and akin turned to a set of footsteps that came from the other side of the creature, akin noticed her eyes relaxed a bit when it caught the image of two men stopped in their advance, rage filled the eyes of the man leading when he saw her kneeling in front of akin with corpses spread around, "temi", he called out

the one behind him rushed to the closest corpes for a quick check, he looked at akin apprehensively, "boss", he called the man standing in front of him in a quiet tone

"I'll deal with this", his boss replied, "you'll take temi home", he furthered, his aura gradually grew following his rage, he reached for his sword with all eyes well placed on him, temi took to her feet and, "this is not his doing", she passed to her dad in urgency but he was way deep in rage to want to hold back, "jethro will take you home, this is no place for a lady",he said to her neglecting her words

Akin took his laid back eyes shifted from the raged boss to his disappointed daughter then turned away and focused on the direction of the creature, Jethro picked up the killing intent coming from behind the trees in the direction at which akin was focused on, then swiftly turned his head to another direction picking up the same vibe

"looks like it was waiting for his clique to arrive" akin steted quietly, "you should go now,this is truly no place for a lady", he passed to temi

Sje looked at him with confidence burning in her eyes, "I'm no ordinary lady", her firm response sent a smile down his face

Her father lost in his rage was the only one not caught up with the situation, he walked angrily at akin wanting a fight, his want and rage was disrupted by the keji that shot through the woods flinging his sharp claws at temi, akin moved faster to intercept the attack, he caught the hold of the creatures hand and sent another fast uppercut to it, the creature took to the sky screeching

Nine more of it's kind rushed in from the cover to join in the fight, Jethro pulled out a double saber and rushed to temi's corner, A keji lashed out at the boss, he defended easily with his sword, he took a few steps back and went in with a sharp upward swing cutting through its claws, the boss went for another quick attack at the keji's feet taking it off

Akin was firm in his stance waiting for the sky driven keji to drop, he blasted another punch to its stomach shattering through it's thick skin letting a dark colored blood spill out, Jethro danced around with two keji attacking him then took a fast spin splitting them apart from the head to their waist

Temi raised her fist to a keji charging at her, the creatures charge met with a fast kick from akin amd bounced on the ground towards her dad, the man angry butchered the creature in half as it approached him

"i can fight", she yelled at akin, "pardon me for been a gentleman", he responded with a smile

He turned facing another one and clenched his fist for another attack, a bit of lightning trickled through akin helping him close the gap between him and the keji, more lighting flowed through his fist as he went for his strike, his fist went through the creature as it stood dead in it's track, the audience paused to be in awe of the situation, akin moved even faster to the rest taking them down with a punch each dragging his human audience into further surprise.

Akin closed the curtains to the battle in an electrifying style, his breathing became as fast as a difficult horse to catch but with a short concentration he slowly caught up with it, Jethro escorted temi to her fathers side and furious was he to have found her there, "you know fully well that you're not supposed to be around this sort of thing?",he questioned her

"eith this whole thing right here",she pointed around in her own annoyance, "i don't think there's a point in me playing noble woman in make up","or would you prefer i become a sitting duck when he arrives with his army? because I'm sure you know he's coming"

"who's he?", akin turned to inquire,

"you!!!!, i should kill you where you stand for getting my daughter in this mess",he poured his anger at akin,

Akin wore a face almost painted with seriousness,"cool it pops", he teased him, "i didn't get anyone involved with anything"

Temi annoyance at akin's statement was nothing compared to her dads so she easily let go of it, she stayed with her dad, "he's right dad, he didn't get me involved in this, i came up by myself and if it wasn't for him, I'd be dead already, so I'd say, our house owes him a debt"

The boss got in a lookdown contest with akin who was not wavering, "jethro", he called out, "send word", "yes sir" Jethro responded and disappeared off the scene

"you!!, what's your name?", he asked akin in a less angry manner, "it's akin" he answered with an annoying smile that almost ticked the man

"akin, you're coming with us, we need all hands on deck, a war is coming", he ordered the young man, akin responded with a shoulder and walked up to the man who turned away quickly going back down

After walking few paces, temi turned to akin, "thanks for the save back there, I'm temi", she relayed with the ghost of a smile leaving her face

"and your dad?", he asked, "general basil", she replied

"general? I thought he was a noble?", akin asked

"well, i don't think there's a restriction to how titles a man should have", she passed plainly

"iguess", akin accepted in an equally relaxed face

Akin looked turned to look behind a small bush in the distance as he walked on then turned back wearing an hidden smile.
