Chapter 9

Randy took Julian to the pool in the backyard. The moment they got there, he spread his arms wide and said. ''Wooo… it feels so good out here.'' Julian could only smile faintly, still wary. ''Let’s sit.'' Randy said, lowering himself onto a chair while Julian reluctantly sat on another. ''Wanna know what would make this night better?'' Randy asked. Julian raised an eyebrow. ''What?" Randy laughed and brought out a metal bottle of alcohol. He took a sip, then held it out toward Julian. Julian waved his hand. ''No, thank you. I don’t drink.'' ''Come on, Julian. Just a sip. Trust me.'' Randy grinned. Julian hesitated, then reluctantly took a small sip. His face scrunched up instantly. Randy laughed. ''See? Not so bad.'' Randy said, taking the bottle back. ''I… I really don’t want more.'' Julian said. Randy laughed. "If you take some more I'll let you off for the night." Julian laughed and replied. "Please, Randy. No more." Randy pouted his mouth, looking sad. "Please, Julian. Just to celebrate our new found friendship." Julian stared at him and sighed. "I'm not taking any more after this, and I mean it." His voice was firm. Randy nodded happily, he then stood up and fed Julian the alcohol. When Julian felt he's had enough and tried pushing him off, Randy didn't budge, he kept forcing him to drink until he almost drank the whole bottle, that was when he let Julian go. "Randy!" Julian half yelled, visibly upset. Randy laughed once more. "I'm sorry, I only wanted you to have a good time. I'm sorry." He kept apologizing until Julian accepted his apology. Randy took his sit once more. "So, Julian. Tell me more about yourself." Julian tried to speak, but he was already feeling the effect of the alcohol. He shook his head, feeling the alcohol slightly dizzying his thoughts. "Julian, are you okay?" Randy asked, concern etched in his voice. "I... I think I should go back inside." Julian said, standing unsteadily. Randy instantly stood and held his arm lightly. "Easy there. Sit back down for a minute. Don't push yourself." Julian shook his head. "No... I... I want to go. I should leave." He tried walking away but Randy refused to let him leave and made him sit down again, then he got on top of him. Julian's vision was starting to blur, but he could still make out what was happening. "W.... What are you doing?" "I'm sorry, Julian. I took interest in you the moment I saw you sitting at that bar. I just knew I had to have you at all costs." "What?" Julian muttered, his heart racing with fear. "I purposely got you drunk. Don't worry, it'll be over before you know it." Julian couldn't believe his ears, he instantly tried to push Randy off, but he was too weak to do so. Randy easily pinned both his hands to his side and forcefully tried to kiss him. Julian tried his best to resist, but he was way too drunk and weak. Randy's lips soon came crashing down on his, and he began kissing him with so much urgency. "Oh, Julian. I never expected you to taste this good." He said the minute he pulled away. "P.... please." Julian begged, tears streaming down his cheeks. "Please don't do this, I'm begging you." He said weakly. "I...I thought you were my friend." Randy freed one of his hands and lovingly caressed his cheek. "I should let you go, Julian.'' He said, his voice thick with desire. "But I can't, not when you taste this good. I want you even more, Julian. More than ever.'' Randy's lips crashed onto Julian's once more, and all Julian's attempts to break free were fruitless. He silently began calling for Adrian. He was the only person he could think of to come rescue him. Randy soon left his lips and began kissing the side of his neck, sucking and biting him. "Please, let me go. Don't do this, Randy. Please." Julian cried desperately, but Randy paid no attention to his words. While kissing his neck, Randy began unbuttoning his shirt and just then, a loud voice thundered through the air. "Julian!!" Randy froze. He turned sharply, his eyes widening in horror as he recognized the man standing a few steps away—Adrian De Carlo, with his guards behind him. Adrian’s fists were clenched tightly at his sides, his entire body radiating fury. His eyes burned with a dangerous intensity as they locked onto the scene before him. ''A… Adrian De Carlo.'' Randy stuttered, panic taking over. He immediately stumbled back from Julian, trying to create distance, but it was too late. He turned and attempted to run, but Adrian’s men were faster. Within seconds, they caught him and restrained him, dragging him back as he struggled in fear. Adrian rushed to Julian’s side immediately. He reached out to touch him, but Julian cried out and began struggling weakly. ''Let go! Let go!'' ''It’s me, Julian.'' Adrian said quickly, his voice calm despite the storm raging inside him. ''It’s Adrian.'' Julian froze. ''Adrian?'' Adrian nodded gently. ''Yes, pup. It’s me.'' At that, Julian broke. He sobbed harder, his voice trembling. ''I was waiting for you… What took you so long?'' Adrian’s heart shattered at the sight of him, so shaken, so vulnerable. He pulled Julian into his arms without hesitation. ''I’m sorry, pup.'' He murmured, holding him tightly. ''I’m sorry I took so long. I’m sorry… it’s all my fault.'' Julian clung to him, weeping bitterly. The fear still lingered in his body, the shock of what almost happened refusing to leave his mind. He didn’t even want to imagine how much worse it could have been if Adrian hadn’t arrived when he did. After a while, his sobs quieted slightly. ''Come on.'' Adrian said softly. ''Let’s go home.'' He helped Julian to his feet, but when Julian swayed, Adrian didn’t hesitate—he lifted him into his arms. Normally, Julian would have protested, but this time, he didn’t have the strength. He simply leaned into him. As Adrian turned, his eyes fell on Randy, who was being held down by his men. The man was shaking now, tears streaming down his face. Fear had completely taken over him. Adrian’s gaze turned ice-cold. If Randy had known who Julian belonged to, he would never have dared. Adrian would have dealt with him personally, but Julian came first. Without looking away, he said coldly. ''You know what to do.'' ''Yes, boss.'' His men replied. Adrian walked away, carrying Julian, his focus entirely on him. Behind them, Randy’s cries soon echoed through the night as the men moved in, their punishment swift and merciless.
