Chapter 5

The sun shone brightly in my face and I moaned while muttering some nonsense. I rolled over in my bed and almost fell off when I felt something pull me back in the bed and I hit a hard wall. I wondered how there was a wall on my bed so I opened my eyes to see a pair of blue ones staring back at my brown ones and I jumped up and screamed.

"Yeee! Who the hell are you?" I shouted at the stranger lying in my bed. He chuckled before answering me in a deep voice laced with sleep,

"Well my queen, you brought me in your room last night and demanded I lay with you and here we are." He smiled showing his pearly whites and I c****d an eyebrow at him before folding my hands across my chest. Who is this man I thought and why do I feel so connected to him? He came closer to me, but my legs would not move, and he stalked his hands around my waist and inhaled me,

 "You smell lovely mate."

Mate.... those words brought back all the memories of last night, the coronation, me shifting and going to my favorite spot with my mate. I smiled and slowly touched my lips reminiscing on the way we kissed and clung to each other as our life depended on it and me bringing him home last night and cuddling up to him. I had never brought a man over to my house and then I demanded he stay with me, well this was already an interesting start to my life.

Sterling POV

I clung to her slim waist as my life depended on it, I didn’t want to let her go because I was afraid that she would disappear. Scarlet Dangers, Queen of Werewolves was my mate. I never believed that I would get a mate and yet here I was with the most beautiful girl in the world. She was already special to me in a way I couldn’t describe because I was so bad at expressing myself. I placed my forehead to hers and stared at her plump lips and I kissed her again. It was just a pec, but it turned out to be more when she pushed me on the bed and kissed all over my face then recaptured my lips. She kissed me like she was hungry for me and I gasped at her intensity, she was definitely a dominant I thought. She then kissed along my jawline to my neck and my body shuddered at the touch of her lips. She moved from my neck and I saw her eyes completely white and I was a bit startled at it before she pushed her hand in my pants and started to rub my erected instrument. A smirk appeared on her lips as she stroked, it slightly and I sucked in a breath closing my eyes in the process. She then kissed me deeply and resumed her assault on my neck. I felt her canines graze across the nape of my neck and my body shivered in delight. She sunk her teeth in and I felt a warm rush of pleasure overflow my body and I felt myself rise in the air. She removed her teeth from my neck and licked it clean then I felt it heal. I was in utter bliss when I opened my eyes and saw her beautiful brown ones and I kissed her. I got up from the bed and slapped her ass playfully and walked to her bathroom and took a cold shower.

Scarlet POV

I marked him I screamed mentally and giggled while putting my feet up in the air. I got up and spread my bed before walking to my balcony and opening the door. While on the balcony, I overlooked my kingdom and smiled. I was now a queen. I felt tingles shoot up my arm as Sterling came and touched my shoulder and sat on the balcony staring at me. I caught sight of his mark and smiled at the white wolf howling at the moon. I wondered what my mark would look like and I smiled even more at him. The knock on my door brought me from my thoughts and I went to open my door to see my two best friends. They both engulfed me into a hug and came into my room and plopped down on my bed. Sterling came in and waved to them before kissing my cheek and heading out the door. Martha’s eyes lit up and she smirked at me,

“Oooh Scarlet. Is that hunk your mate?”

“Yes Martha,” I rolled my eyes at her silly behavior.

Mary just rolled her eyes at her sister’s silly behavior and smiled at me before hugging me again.

“I’m happy you found a better mate love.”

"Thanks, Mary, I'm happy too."

Martha cleared her throat and said, “Well my queen breakfast is ready, and we are all awaiting your arrival.”

I was startled, and I hid my face. First day as a queen and I am already late just wonderful. Sapphire laughed in my head and I grabbed a simple black dress with the back cut open and black converse. I put my hair in a ponytail and applied red lipstick to my lips before running out the room. Mary pulled me back inside and put me to sit on a chair before she placed a smaller version of my crown on my head and led me to breakfast. The door opened, and the chatter died down as I slowly entered. My eyes fell upon my mother and she shot me a glare to which I smiled. I walked up to my seat at the top of the table and shot Sterling a glare who sat to my left.

I cleared my throat and said slowly, “Let breakfast begin.”

I dug into my food and my mother shot me a glare, so I started to eat more slowly, and Sterling chuckled at my actions. I kicked his feet under the table and he made a groan to which I laughed. I took my glass and clicked it slowly with my fork to gain everyone’s attention before I spoke.

“As you all know after I became queen last night I found my mate. Well, he is here with us today and I officially announce my mate to you, Sterling Crimson, Alpha of the Crimson pack."

Cheers rang out in the large dining room that was currently housing one million werewolves and servants.

I smiled and looked among my people until my eyes landed on those of Elijah and I felt my heart pain as an arrow pierced through it and I fell to the floor and everything went into chaos. I saw Sterling run to me as everything slowed down and Elijah fled the scene before the darkness took over my vision.
