Weeks had passed since Steven left before I received my first letter from him. Telling me as much as he could about his time away and briefly the places he has been to. Still unable to tell me where he was or when he’d be back. He professed his love for me, sending a picture of him alone in his uniform and another of him and few of his fellow troops. I wrote him back immediately, filling a box up with life’s everyday essentials and pictures of me. Rox had helped me take a few of me wearing only his jersey to send to him.  I sent the box out that night, wanting it to get to him as soon as possible before he changed locations.  As days turned into weeks and weeks turned into two months, the nausea and dizziness came and went, I ignored it as best I could.
