“I love you” only, I wasn’t the only one who said it. He had said it too. We paused midway to the kiss, smiling at others.
“I wasn’t sure you heard me earlier.” He said
“I wasn’t sure I heard you right” I laughed, reached down and took his jersey into my hand pulling him up to meet my lips. He stood straight up on the side of the railing finding his footing he wrapped his arms around me tight.
“Steven! Get your ass over here right now. Team goes to the locker room for halftime. MOVE YOUR ASS!” his coach was screaming while he walked towards the locker rooms. “You’re owe 10 laps after the game!”
We stopped kissing, “Well worth it” he said me as he jumped back down.
