“Uh, pepperoni pizza?” Some guy said from behind us. Steven quickly pulled away “yeah man.” He replied, making room for the pizza on the table.

I stepped away, walking up to take my turn, as Craig went up and grabbed a slice of pizza. Catching my breath, my head was spinning. I couldn't believe he was about to kiss me. I hated that employee so much right now.

We continued our double lunch date, taking bites of the pizza and flirting in between frames. 

We played two games, him kicking all of our asses.

“Those shoes must of messed with your game.” He said holding the door open for me as we walked out.

“Yup, that was it. Those damn shoes.” I laughed.

Our hands brushed against each other, before he took mine into his, intertwining our fingers.

His hand was warm and rough, I could feel calluses on his palm.

He walked me to the passenger side of the Bronco, holding the door open for me as Roxanne and Craig climbed in through the drivers side.

“Thanks” I smiled at him. Now sitting eye level with him standing in the door frame.

He smiled and shut the door, climbing into the driver’s seat once again.

We drove in silence, listening to the radio. He took my hand into his after a few minutes of driving. Rubbing his thumb over my knuckles before turning my hand over and intertwining our fingers once again.

We pulled into his driveway when my phone started to ring. Flashing my father's name on the screen.

I stayed in the truck as he hopped out. Hanging up the phone, I watched him walk around to my door. 

“We have to go Roxanne, my dad needs me home.” I said to her just before Steven opened the door. 

“Everything okay?” He asked.

I tucked a loose hair from my face, “Yeah, it was just my dad. We gotta go. I need to help him at home.”

His face looked like he was disappointed, “Oh, okay.”

“I'm sorry. I had an awesome time with you.” I said to him hopping out of the truck.

He walked me to my car and pulled my driver's door open for me. While Craig walked Roxanne to the passenger side.

“Thanks.” I said to him, smiling up at him.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Craig lean down and kiss Roxanne.

I wanted Steven to kiss me so badly, to feel his touch again.

I quickly went onto my tippy toes and kissed his cheek before I slid down into the car. 

“I'll talk to you later.” He said while bending down, giving my cheek a quick kiss and closing my door.

He walked back to the house while I waited for Roxanne to get in.

“Let’s go Rox!” I yelled up to her as I started my car. Breaking them apart.

We drove in silence for a couple of minutes, while I lit a cigarette. 

“So, Craig huh?” I said to her, breaking the silence.

She giggled in reply. 

“You almost kissed!” she said back after a few minutes.

“Yeah, but the stupid guy with the pizza ruined everything.” I sighed.

“Well, there’s always tomorrow. When we see him at their game!” She reminded me as we pulled into her driveway.

Roxanne gathered all of her things and made her way to the side door.

“I’ll talk to you later” she yelled as I backed out of the driveway. I waved goodbye and headed to my house.

Walking in I found my dad cleaning up his fishing supplies.

“Hey kid” he said as I sat down next to him.

“Hi. How was your weekend?” I asked.

“Good. Yours? How are the girls?” 

“They are good.” I replied.

I helped him untangle and organize his supplies and move everything down to the basement.

Hours later I was leaning against my car in the dark, smoking a cigarette when my phone rang. Steven's name flashed across the screen.

I answered it on the second ring, “Hello?”

“Hey, what are you doing? Are you free?” He asked.

“Uh, yeah I am...why what's up?”

“Craig got your address from Roxanne. I was going to just stop by but then I figured I should call?” He said with hesitation in his voice.

“Okay, yeah.” I replied back, looking down at my sweats.

I stood up from the car and put out the cigarette. And started to walk towards the house to change.

“Good, because I'm here.” He said just as his bronco pulled into my driveway.

I stood there as he pulled next to my car. He cut off the engine, but the headlights stayed on, blinding me.

I heard his door close then his footsteps as he walked up towards me. He walked in front of the lights, but I couldn't make out his face.

Before I knew it he was standing in front of me, his hand sliding across my cheek and into my hair; as he leaned down and kissed me. His lips were soft, brushing against mine. His hand stayed in my hair while his other slid around my back, pulling me closer to him. The lights on his truck finally turning off.

I placed one hand on his bicep, feeling his muscles flex under my touch; while my other hand went to his back. 

He kissed me hard, pushing me up against the side of the house.

“I should have done that earlier,” he said as he pulled away, his hands down on my hips and his forehead resting on mine.

I bit my lip, “Yeah” is all I could manage.

We walked hand-in-hand to the double swing that was tucked away in the corner of the front yard.

“I can't stay long.” He said as we sat there, his arm around my waist holding me next to him.

I nodded,not wanting him to leave just yet.

“Stacey” he reached for my chin as I turned my head to face him. Smiling at his touch, meeting him halfway until our lips met.

The kiss grew stronger, and I turned towards him to stop straining my neck. Placing my hand in the middle of his chest I swung my leg over to straddle him. Both hands laying on his shoulders as I felt his entire body flex beneath mine.

My hands slid to his neck, while his hands traveled from my back to my hips. Slowly moving towards my ass. He squeezed my butt, pushing me on to him harder. My own desire taking over.

His tongue licked at my lower lip, looking for an entrance. I opened my mouth, inviting his tongue. My hips moved against him, as his hand grabbed my hair. Pulling my head back softly he lowered his head and kissed my neck.
