They climbed into the back seat & I hopped up front.  Steven drove two minutes down the road, then pulled over to the side of the road, putting the truck in park. "Stay right here, I’ll be right back" he jumped out and ran up to a house across the street & right up to the second floor.  I sat there for five minutes, before I realized I could hear kissing noises behind me, making me I rolled my eyes. Steven stepped out onto the second floor porch carrying 4 cases of Smirnoff vodka. Apparently his favorite drink. He carried them down the stairs with ease, it was breathtaking. I realized he’d have no way to open the trunk so I hopped out to help. I opened the back of the truck, catching a lacrosse ball as it started to roll out.  "Nice catch!" He said as he put the cases down. "Thanks for helping me, I see Craig isn’t much help" nodding to his brother, who was currently making out in the backseat. Steven stomped on the gas pedal and floored it down the bumpy road.  Roxanne let out a squeal, as she and Craig had bonked heads from the roughness. I laughed, holding onto the oh s**t handle above my head.  Steven smiled over at me once he reached the end, and let out a laugh. “You’re a d**k” Craig said to him, checking Roxanne’s mouth for her. “You know it” Steven replied and winked at me, my heart skipped a beat. Steven turned up the radio, I expected to hear country music, like when Craig was driving. But he switched stations and put on some rock. I listened to all kinds of music, but preferred rock over all the others. Okay, I thought to myself, that’s one thing we have in common. The drive seemed to fly by with Steven behind the wheel, because before I knew it, we were all getting out of the truck at Matt’s house. Each of us took a case and carried them into the house. Walking into the house, it seemed empty. There was no sign of Matt or Katie…from what we could see anyways. The moment we walked into the kitchen however, we knew they were in the house.  Craig put his finger to his lips, Steven silently laughed, his shoulders moving up and down with a wicked grin across his face. I looked at both of them, puzzled. Roxanne and I had just walked into the kitchen, but it didn’t take long to figure out what they were being so sneaky about. Behind a closer door, Katie and Matt were having s*x. Loud s*x. As if they didn’t know we were on our way and no one would be home soon s*x.  My cheeks reddened at the sounds they were making. Roxanne grabbed my hand and pulled me back outside without saying a word.  Pulling a cigarette out the moment we stepped outside. “Well, they really know how to make it awkward.” I nodded and dug in my bag for my pack of smokes. Taking a deep puff, I realized that I had gone practically the entire day without one. Steven filled my mind, I couldn’t think properly, or at all sometimes, when he was near me. As if on cue, the boys came walking out of the house. Breaking out into a fit of laughter the second the door shut behind them. “Oh man, I so wish we had a voice recorder,” Craig laughed, “Matt sounded like a dying goose” I almost spit my cigarette out of my mouth at his comment, instead I just choked on the smoke. “And that’s why you shouldn’t smoke” Steven said, as he was reaching into the truck’s front counsel. He pulled out a small tin can, and an empty water bottle. “Please, don’t tell me that’s what I think it is” I stated once I saw the tin. He smiled, “What if it is?” he questioned me with a bit of attitude. “You can smoke, but I can’t chew?” “Well, that’s not what I said but I’m willing to make a deal with you.” I stomped out the rest of the cigarette. Raising his eyebrows at me, “Oh yeah? What’s that?” “I won't smoke, and you don’t chew. Not when we’re together at least.” “And why should I make that deal” he said with his half smile displayed on his face. Knowing Roxanne and Craig were standing there, staring at us. Made me feel a little self-conscious. Why should he make the deal? What’s the point in it? Just so we can kiss? Am I overreacting? Ewe no, I told myself. Chew is disgusting and what if he kisses me with it in his mouth!?! I’d die. “Because I like kissing you, and if you have chew in your mouth it’s going to freak me out and I’d much rather be able to kiss you than to think of the chew that was in your mouth.” I bluntly said to him. He stood there for a minute, the tin can open, before he clicked the lid back on. “Deal, and you can’t smoke because the taste is equally gross.” He reached his now empty hand out to shake on it. I reached out and took his hand, “deal.” Roxanne looked to Craig, who was now holding the tin. He stood there, looked at the tin then back to Roxanne. “Deal?” “Deal!” she dropped the cigarette to put it out. I shook my head and giggled. “Come with me, let’s have some fun.” Steven said with a wink. I followed him, with Craig and Roxanne walking slowly behind us, down the driveway a bit diagonally from the house. There was another huge building on the far left side of the property. Three huge garage doors made up one side, we walked in through one of the smaller doors and Steven flicked on the lights. “Do you guys like to ride?” My mind went right to the gutter, snickering to myself as I thought; well, I think I’d love to. Looking around the garage, it was filled with snowmobiles, four-wheelers, and dirt bikes. A small speed boat was parked in front of the last garage door. “I grew up around dirt bikes, but I honestly never learned anything about them.” I stated walking towards the rigs. “But I love four-wheelers.” “Here” Steven said tossing me a helmet “this should fit.” I pulled the helmet on over my head, “we can just take them out?” “Well, this one is actually mine.” Steven stated as his swung his foot up and over onto a four-wheeler. “Hop on, I’ll take you for a ride.” Again, my mind went right back to what it may be like to have s*x with Steven. His muscles covered in sweat, his body pressed against mine. It thrilled me. I took hold of his hand, stepped up and straddled the quad, wrapping my arms around his waist. He sat straight, grabbing my hands, pulling me closer “Hold on tight.” He yelled to me as he started it up and headed out towards the woods behind the house. I tightened my legs against him, all too aware of that he was between them.  I felt soaked, and wanted so badly for his hands to be on me. My mind flew back to our current situation and I tightened my grip around him as he kicked it into gear. I laughed in excitement, leaning with him in turns, lifting up over bumps. We rode deep into the woods until we entered a clearing and went up a hill.  Once on top, he killed the engine and hopped off. Leaving me sitting alone. He pulled his helmet off, it leaving red marks on his face where it held tight.  “Oh, wow…it’s beautiful up here!” I said while pulling my helmet off as well. From the top of the hill, we could see out to a small valley, it wasn’t huge but it was enough to see the beautiful setting sun. “Yeah it is” Steven said, only he was looking at me. I blushed, biting my lower lip and turned my head. When I looked back towards him, his eyes had a fire in them. “I love coming up here.” He said, his voice soft “We used to ride all the time and just hang out up here when we were younger. It's going to be hard to say goodbye to this place.”
