Our Luna is A Witch

Chapter 7

(Kyle’s point of view)

        When we heard that there were intruders on the pack lands. I immediately turned the car towards the area of the pack land where the intruders were spotted. “Alexia, can you put a protection spell on the pack and any of the witches that are going to fight?” I asked.

        She looked at me and said, “Sure I can Alpha how many people do you think will be fighting?” Ben replied before I could, “Babe I’d say a safe bet would be about three hundred and fifty to four hundred people.” She looked shocked at the number but responded, “Ok I need descriptions of all the people fighting and I need Daphne’s help.”

My mate responded, “Sure alexia I’ll help but don’t forget you also have Regina to help.” Alexia looked confused before answering, “Oh I completely forgot about Regina do you think she will find her mate soon because I would really miss my bestie?” Daph replied, “I’m sure she will always remain close by us.”

I told them, “We have arrived at the battlefield ladies so it’s time to work.”  We all sobered up and got down to work. Alexia and Daphne started their spell and a red-headed woman came up to them. She introduced herself as Regina, “Hello Alpha, Gamma, my name is Regina and I’m just going to help them.”

        They all worked on the protection spell for those that are going to be fighting. And for those that aren’t going to be fighting they did a slightly different protection spell. Everyone that’s fighting started to fight the intruders. As this was going on I saw at least fifteen hostiles going for my mate and her cousin.

        The whole fight lasted maybe three hours and there weren’t any casualties on our part. But the vampire intruders lost all except one couple. Who ran off into the woods using super speed. I then took stock of the injured and made sure the witches with healing magic.

 Those that volunteered to help, healed any of the injured that they had the energy to help. After they finished healing the injured I took them home. When we got there my future father-in-law asked me, “So Alpha what happened tonight to make the girls so exhausted?”

        I replied, “Well sir as we were on the way back we got notified that there were intruders on my packs land. So we immediately drove to where they were spotted. And the ladies did a few protection spells on the people that belonged to my pack and your coven. And helped to heal any injured on our side.”

        He responded, “Thanks for bringing them home safely. So how many did we lose?” I answered him, “We didn’t lose anyone thanks to daphne, alexia, and Regina as well as all those that helped them heal the injured.” He inquired, “So how many got away?” My response was, “Two vampires got away and they seemed like the couple in-charge.”

After a wonderful date, we were on our way back home and got an alert saying intruders on the pack lands. So we sped straight to the place where the intruders were spotted. Alexia and I started to meditate for the protection spells we were about to perform.  

Suddenly Regina came over and started her meditation to work with us. Once we had finished the protection spells the fight took off in full. There were people killing vampires all over the place. I personally burnt at least twenty to a crisp before being distracted by kyle getting hurt.

He told me, “Don’t worry babe it’s just a scratch I’m fine and thanks to you three we will get through this without any losses.” I nodded my head and said, “Ok I love you babe don’t get killed.” Just then I saw four vampires coming for my cousin.

 “Alexia watch out be careful I need my favorite cousin safe and sound,” I told her. She gave a slight nod before throwing a few fire spells behind her.  Even though she is not a fighter she still knows the basic fighting spells. Honestly, she is better than Xander at fire spells. Whereas he is better at water spells and air spells.

We all end up killing every one of the intruding vampires. Afterward, we start the process of healing all the injured. I may not be the best at healing magic, but I need to personally have a hand in healing my mate. As soon as all the injuries were taken care of we went home.

Alexia and I kept dozing off in the car on the way home. I’m more exhausted because of the healing magic that I used. Whereas alexia is more worn out by the fighting that she did. We got home and my dad immediately starts to question the guys. Meanwhile, Alexia and I are helped inside by Regina and Natalie.

They don’t seem anywhere as tired as us but then again they train for about eight hours a day. And they do that seven days a week while alexia and I train two hours a day seven days a week.  I wondered if Regina’s mate was in our coven our Kyle’s pack.

So I asked her, “Regina do you know who your mate is?” She replied as she helped me change into my pajamas, “No as far as I know he is not in our coven. But we haven’t met the whole pack yet so maybe he is a part of it.”

I responded sleepily, “Maybe he is, I truly hope he is so that you won’t have to go far away in search of him.”  She just smiled at me and said, “Me too because if I end up having to travel to find him. I honestly have no idea what I would do.”

I finally finished changing for bed and told her, “I will ask Kyle tomorrow when we can meet the whole pack officially.” She replied, “Ok daph I will let you get some sleep, see you tomorrow morning and we can talk more then.” As she walked out of my room to go to bed in the barracks. I felt like I was being observed by some unknown person or creature.

So I cast a quick spell to reveal if anyone was in my room or just outside it. It revealed someone on my balcony I looked and found out that kyle was on my balcony. I asked, “Babe what are you doing on my balcony?” He replied, “Baby I just wanted to check on you before I left. And I wanted to talk to you about meeting my parents as well as the pack.”

        “I would love to meet your parents and the pack officially. I think Regina’s mate might be in your pack so she would be coming with me and alexia.” was my response. He told me, “I wouldn’t dream of her not coming with you ladies because she helped us just as much as you and alexia did tonight.”

        I smiled and said, “I really hope her mate is in your pack, no I mean our pack.” He had a beaming smile on his face at that and replied, “I’m glad that you have come to think of it as our pack instead of just my pack.”

He gave me a huge hug and kissed me quickly before saying, “Well love I have to go before your dad realizes that I am still here.” I replied, “Bye babe I’ll miss you, when do you think I can meet your parents?”

 His response was, “Ben and I will be here to pick you girls up around six tomorrow night for dinner with our families how does that sound.” I told him, “It sounds wonderful babe see you then.” With that, he turned and jumped off the balcony.

After finishing our talk with the head warlock I decided to go check on my mate. I got up to her balcony just as Regina was helping her put her sweatpants on. I couldn’t help but stare at my mate’s luscious curves and wonder what I did to be worthy of having a mate like her.

She seemed to sense that someone was watching her. So she cast a spell and suddenly I felt a little pinch on my cheek. After that, we talked for about twenty minutes and she agreed to meet my parents tomorrow. As well as meet the pack officially at some unknown time in the future.

I then jumped off her balcony and ran to where ben was waiting with the car. He wanted to go check on alexia too. But I told him, “We are going to be picking the girls up for dinner with our families tomorrow at six. And with my hearing, I heard alexia snoring across the hall from daphne.”

He replied, “Ok bro I’ll let it be for now, but you owe me one.” We then rode in the car until we got to the pack's territory. From there I gave ben the wheel and ran in wolf form to the pack dungeons where we had those vampire prisoners stashed.

As soon as I arrived I shifted and pulled on my pants. I threw on a t-shirt while walking into the dungeon. The first thing I said was, “Who among you five is in charge?” They looked around at each other. Before one stood up and said, “I think that would be me alpha.”

“There was an unsuccessful rescue attempt tonight and only one vampire couple escaped. Would you care to tell me who they might be? I will show you the picture from the security cameras.” I told him.  He looked at the picture on the laptop and said, “That is our leader and his mate why would they risk everything for us.”
