Greta Lovelace The figure before me was horrific in its form and appearance. It stood at least nine feet tall, its shadowy body stretching from the ground to the ceiling of the great hall. The creature was composed entirely of dark, roiling energy that seemed to be alive with a malevolent agenda. Its skin glowed black and oozed an oily sheen as it moved around its gigantic body like an undulating wave. Tendrils of darkness shot out from its upper body and seemed to snake around the room like living shadows, reaching out toward us threateningly. The smell that wafted around us was foul - like a combination of burning sulfur and rotting meat - and it made my stomach churn.
