CHAPTER 14

1059 Words

Bobby's POV Since the day I had left the field in anger, I had felt slightly awkward around Charles, at least more than I was used to. Maybe it was because he had seen a side of me that I hadn't wanted him to see, a side that I hated. I had wanted to solve things with him, but I just didn't know what to do or say to him. Maybe I should just talk to him, and it will come naturally. He always seems to know exactly what to do, unlike me... When I jumped off my bike, I saw Charles' car pass by me, before it pulled into the parking lot. "I guess now is my chance before anyone else shows up," I told myself. I looked around me before I headed in the direction of his car, but, as I saw him step out, I paused when I saw the door on the opposite side open and Amelia stepped out.
