Charles' POV
[Six days later]
"Hello?" I heard Bobby's voice as he finally picked up the phone.
"Hi Bobby, I'm calling 'cause I was worried since you haven't come to practice, so I wanted to know if everything is alright?" I greeted, while trying not to sound displeased by his absence.
"Yeah, I just... I had to... do something important, but I'll be back again tomorrow," Bobby answered as he stuttered a bit.
"Well, okay, is there something I can help you with? You know I'm always here to help you if something's happened," I tried to ask, when the line became quiet for a minute, before Bobby spoke again.
"Yeah, I know, but it's really not necessary, I'll handle it myself, thank you though," he dismissed, while he shortly after ended the call, as I gave a heavy sigh.
