"I'm sure you think it's bad; I thought so myself, too." I spoke when Archie didn't answer, but as I was about to withdraw my hands, he surprised me when he quickly took hold of them.
"No, of course I don't think that!" He blurred out while he quickly cleared his throat.
"I was just thinking that... he probably needs a little space after what happened. I'm sure when he has had some time to think it through, he will realize that he overreacted. He is normally quite composed, but when it comes to people he really cares about, he is kinda thoughtless and has a tendency to carry his heart on his sleeve, if you know what I mean," he explained, while he proceeded to clear his throat.
