Nothing could be more embarrassing than this!!
I bit my lips hard as I watched the shop attendant return all I'd shopped into the trolley to their respective places.
First it was me spewing out the truth about my inability to afford a cup and now it's me telling them about a sudden debit which they might not even believe.
Cold sweats trickled down my forehead as I dialed the bank manager's official line for the umpteenth time..
