Right before my very eyes, Sophia ran off to her room and I couldn't even stop her.
Echoes of all I said began ringing in my ears and I folded my fists, releasing the sigh I didn't even know I was holding.
“You shouldn't have said that, Levi,” I thought, still breathing heavily.
Jace's call came in again and I didn't even know why and how my stiff hands swiped green.
“Calmed down yet? I have something to tell you”
Most of our phone conversations began without the usual ‘Hello' and that was even now a habit.
“Levi?..” his voice came around again when I said nothing.
“I just insulted her.. and now she hates me” I said, staring into space and seeming lost.
I heard him sigh.
“Don't you think this is turning into desperation?” he inquired.
“What?” I questioned back as one
