I was surprised to realise that Levi didn't go to work..
I mean, I heard no sounds of his car, not heard his commanding voice from outside and that only meant one thing – he didn't go anywhere.
And since I was in my room, I had no idea what he was doing.
A knock on my room door woke me from the short nap I decided to take after my conversation with Ellen and my munching on the plate of pasta the maids brought.
“Uhm..?” I groaned from where I laid, wondering why my sleep was being interrupted. It was just 12pm and not lunchtime so it was definitely not the maids.
The knock came around again but this time, it was with a voice.
“Babe..”
My eyes flung open immediately and expanded a bit.
