Chapter one: I'm so done with this job

Olivia walked out of her car hurriedly, she was late. Again. She glanced at her wrist watch, 30 minutes past eight, good, just good, now her new boss will have her head if he sees her coming late to work especially since she had been late the previous day.But it wasn’t her fault any ways her new neighbor decide to throw a party on week days, isn’t that cool, of course it isn’t. The party had been accompanied with blasting music and it wasn’t until it ended around 3am that she was able to sleep only to wake up the next morning BOOM it was 6:43 am in the morning. If she didn’t have to prepare her five years old daughter because her house help wasn’t around maybe she would have been a little early to work. But well, what was done was done and her boss could do his worse.She checked around for one her boss cars “Phew” she sighed, he was not around, she went hurriedly to her office.“Good morning, Miss Olivia” somebody said then her chair turnedSHIT! It was her boss, she thought she had gotten away with this one. “Good morning… sir” she replied with obvious shock in her voice.

“Miss Olivia you were late yesterday and now you are late again, what happened” Her new boss- Lajide Kelvin Timini said, his face devoured of any expression. It was blank, she didn’t know if he was angry or not, her formal boss would have done nothing but welcome her to the office but this one was acting like a goat.Her formal boss was a very jovial man and she had worked with him for three years until he sold the company to this man. This devil who was bent on making her stay here unbearable but it isn’t going to be for long just till next week and she will be the boss of her self. The thought was indeed thrilling.

"I woke up late" she replied, she didn't want to lie to him even though she new she could cook up some very convincing that will make him hate himself for asking.

"Ms. Lane your old boss told me a lot of things about you and of all the things he said the only thing you have not been able to work up to is your punctuality and i don't like that, I like my workers punctual no matter what OK" He said to her coldly like she had committed a capital offence. Damn he was getting on her nerves.

"Whatever" She replied him already irritated by the way he was acting

"what did you just say " he asked her furiously daring her to repeat what she just said.

" You heard what I said and I won't repeat my self" She replied knowing that there was nothing he could do to her.

Kelvin stared at her in awe the left her office furiously slamming the.

"Duh!" she said has he slammed the door what the heck does he want her to do, kill herself? oh no she wasn't.
