Asura

2085 Words
Asura alerted the Army of darkness to ready the troops. Arius, the captain, will be preparing the men for a major attack. The plan is I’m to fraudulently step down as Primus to draw the rogues out. This way, we’ll be able to safely secure Lamia while exposing the position of the Rogues. The army of Darkness would then move in an eradicate them. Then, once the leader of the rogues is exposed, we probe him or her for information. We need to find out who the trader is giving information to them. Once we’ve everything we need to know, we publicly execute the head rogue. This will set an example and hopefully deter any future rogues from being made. Sounds simple enough, right? Asura and I are working on and preparing an official statement of my withdrawal as Primus, leaving the position temporarily open. Just as we are to summon the elders to a meeting to explain the situation, Leah alerts me. Another ransom note was taped to the front door. Leah walks over, handing me the note. I’m slipped another piece of paper along with the note. Her eyes tell me to read that one later without announcing it out loud. I acknowledge her silent request to keep her second note private. Asura and I finish drawing up the ‘official statement’ to present to the elders before alerting them to attend our emergency meeting. While waiting, Asura admires the tomb I have personalized for Lamia and I to spend the rest of our afterlife together. His dark skin glows under fluorescent lights, his dangerous grin does the same. His black hair donned with a single white streak on the side of his head. Green eyes sharp like a dagger, he goes on to mention “I’ve noticed you don’t have much security for your tomb here, Damien.” Casually, I respond, “Actually, quite the contrary, father. There are spy cameras in almost every room, set up around the parameter of the outside and four at the main gate. The cameras were designed to be virtually invisible, incredible the technology we have now, isn’t it? We’ve also had trained hell hounds delivered recently. Arius trained them himself because I was adamant in wanting the best of the best training my furry, ferocious companions as my first line of defense. Since he has some security concerns for me during my term as Primus, he delightfully accepted, besides he enjoys playing with the puppies.” Asura shifts slightly in his chair, but enough for me to notice. “We should probably prepare some meals for ourselves before the elders arrive this evening. I’m starved and they are due to arrive shortly. I’ll head to the kitchen and put in a request for Leah and Brian.” I make my way up the stairs and meet Leah in the kitchen, who is looking a bit distressed before she notices me. I make my presence known by gently placing my hand on her shoulder. She jumps and screams “Holy f*****g s**t!” as she flails her arms around in a pathetic attempt to attack. “It’s me, calm down. Why are you so jumpy this evening, that’s not like you.” Leah’s eyes are filled with fear, her body trembling, I can tell her mind is racing. “Leah, what’s wro-“ she places a single finger over my lips, making me stop speaking. She takes a deep breath and takes me by the hand. “Damien, let’s finish what we started, baby. You’ve been keeping me waiting for far too long.” I’m so confused. My furrowed brows and perplexed expression, rejection written all over my face. “Leah, what?” She shushes me again, “We can sneak away for a minute. This is our perfect opportunity while Mia is gone. I need you Damien, please, please, come f**k me baby.” Before I can say anything else, she yanks me towards the main stairs. Reluctantly, I follow, thinking to myself “I am not f*****g this girl. She must be out of her mind!” Im lured up the stairs and into the room Leah and Brian share. Before closing the door, Leah looks around to make sure no one followed us up here.  “Did you read the f*****g note?!” Leah whispers aggressively. But before I can even respond, she quickly cuts me off and continues “Of course you f*****g didn’t! For christ sakes! Damien, you’re being set up. Nija has been leaving the f*****g notes on the door! Asura is a f*****g trader!” I get angry at her accusations. Leah kisses me hard and places her hand on my c**k, just as the door creeks open. “Oh s**t, I’m sorry to intrude, Damien. I had no idea..-“ Asura speaks peeking through the doorway. I clear my throat and play along with Leah, giving just a sliver of trust, just so we can have more time for her to explain herself. “Uhh, yes. Leah and I are secretly having an affair. As you know, Lamia and I have yet to to be uhh intimate. Leah offered her assistance by releasing me when I need it.” I need to make it more convincing. I stuttered.. “Leah is my slave, after all. I just make her a temporary f**k toy, isn’t that right, Leah?” I grab a handful of Leah’s soft, blonde hair and jerk her head back, drawing her closely to me. I mouth the words ‘yes master’ to her to repeat. “Yes, Master.” She repeats, she licks her lips seductively, and adds to the conviction “I need you inside me again, Master. Please take me again, I’m dripping for you.” I continue to hold her hair, she rubs her hands on her body while she professes her fake lust for me, biting her lip, batting her eyelashes. Asura buys it, excusing himself by saying “Absolutely, I understand. I’ll be waiting for you downstairs in the tomb when you are finished. Brian prepared us a meal.” I look at Leah, gazing in her eyes, “I’ll be down after I demolish her insides.” Asura closes the door, and I release my grip from Leah. I listen and confirm Asura went back downstairs so he won’t be able to hear our conversation. “Dude, open your f*****g eyes. It’s Asura. I don’t know why, but he wants you out of the head Vampire position. You need to be careful! What did the note Nijah left say?” I reach in my pocket and sigh, handing the note to her. “I haven’t read it yet.” My heart is breaking inside, I don’t know who to believe. I crunched the note in my hand before Leah takes it. My body releases a low growl “And just what kind of f*****g proof do you have, accusing my maker of sabotaging me? Just because you’re my assistant doesn’t f*****g mean that I’d automatically take your side.” Leah looks slightly offended, angry at me questioning her, but I need to f*****g know how she knows this. Asura has groomed me for centuries, why the f**k would he rip the position from me as soon as I got it?! Leah aggressively grabs my hand, stomping and leading me to the computer where the security footage is stored. She pulls up the video from the afternoon and presses play. Nijah has a piece of paper in his hand, running towards the door and taping it down. I quickly unfold the note to see what it says, the only the note reads is “Asura” my soul shatters, even Nijah knows. Asura is trying to f*****g take the position HE trained me for! He was my f*****g life partner, I call this man father! He’s been my saving grace for everything that has ever been thrown my way! My f*****g maker! The only one person besides Lamia I’d never suspect! How f*****g dare him! Where is my Mia?! I tremble with hatred and devastation. Leah sees the contents of the note. I try to them hold back but tears of frustration force their way out of my eyes. The blood drips on the paper, Leah breaks my silence, “Damien, you need to fight. You have to persevere. f*****g fight!” Leah steps up to me, wipes the bloody tears from my face and growls “Get f*****g Mia back, f*****g kill Asura and take back your position! This is what you’re meant to be! This is your f*****g dream! You worked for this, you made Lamia, you made Asura the f*****g Primus he was! Everything that the association has accomplished was because of you! Now go f*****g fight for it and stop being a p***y!” My fists clenched, my tears have gone, determination embedded in my brain, my Viking screaming with the soul betrayal. “Fake it till you make it Damien, play him the way he’s playing you. You have the advantage, you know his secret. Watch him carefully and bring home my bestie!” Leah ignites the fire for me to go. She’s absolutely right. Looking at her through the flames on my soul, “Thank you for being the friend we needed. And you’re goddamn right I’ll be bringing our Mia home.” I hug her tightly and give her a friendly kiss on her cheek. I draw a deep breath and walk out of the room, heading down the steps and down to my tomb to meet Asura. Internally, my Viking is like a wild animal, fighting tirelessly to get out of his cage and rip his captors apart like mince meat. Restraining myself, I act the exact way Asura would expect. I sit down and grin widely at Asura. “You have fun with your little pet?” He says, grinning right along with me. “I destroyed her, she shouldn’t be walking right for the next week.” We both laugh. “Humans never have been able to handle Vampires in bed. Vampires f**k too hard and too fast for them.” It’s true, Vampires could literally f**k humans to death, it’s actually happened a lot. We have a small laugh again, but Asura turns serious with business. “Let’s have our meals before the elders arrive. I know we’ll be victorious against the rogues with the Army of Darkness on our side. Lamia will be home by tomorrow night!” Asura raves with excitement at his last statement. He would know, I smile in the face of the snake. Swallowing my pride, it feels like a rock going down my throat. A f*****g large, hard, jagged rock, tearing my esophagus as it goes down. I try to contain my emotions, especially on the inside. I do not want Asura to have any idea that I know about his deceit. It’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do in both my life or afterlife. Focus, Damien.  “We’re going to f*****g demolish the rogues and I can’t wait to hold Lamia in my arms again. Let’s feast to our success.” Asura and I have our meals, with this last meal, I will be back to the strong, deadly vampire I am. No more injuries from the intentional crash, no more physical pain. Just fire left, and the burning desire to get my Mia back. Nothing, and I mean nothing will stop me, I will destroy everything in my path, keeping my from her. And although it may break my soul, my undead heart, I will destroy Asura. After our meals, Leah emerges from the stairs to clean up the aftermath. Brian follows behind her, carrying a large table for the elders to have a place to sit with Asura and I. Nijah makes an appearance as well, offering his assistance with a red table cover. When he enters the room, he locks eyes with me and I smile at him, as does Asura. “Good evening Nijah, it’s good to see you. I haven’t gotten the chance to properly thank you for being so swift in the rescue mission to save me from the accident.” I shake his hand as he returns the smile. “It was a pleasure to be part of the ‘rescue mission’ of the new head Vampire. I admire you, Damien, and I look forward to have a powerful leader like you in charge of the association.” My smile fades slightly, but I nod, allowing him to return to his duties of setting the up the elder table. The elders will be arriving any minute, I just need to maintain my control for now. I will get Lamia back and I will be prepared to make any necessary sacrifices. My Viking is in control.
