HAPPY ENDINGIf Miss Merriman had lain awake with her own thoughts, so had Phoebe. And Mrs. Barton, who rarely let trouble disturb her rest, also passed an uneasy night, caused by the very trying behaviour of her son Guy and Miss Phoebe Rivers on the previous day.
