Luke's POV
Why do I feel this way, my heart feels so heavy and sad? Why did I have to send her there? I need to go after her. I don't even know what Sawyer planned, I was so occupied with my party that I didn't even go to check.
“Son it's time.” My mum stops me when I am about to head to the barn.
“Time for what, mum?” I ask, feeling as if she is wasting my time.
“It's midnight already son you have to start sniffing.” She says excitedly, kissing my cheek. I know she can't wait for dad to retire as an Alpha so that they can go travelling as they had planned ever since. “Go find her, my hubby misses me.” She adds and leaves. I sigh in relief and proceed. All the excitement I had has vanished, it’s replaced by this worry and fear.
