I woke up and snuggled up closer to Sophia just happy to have her back in my arms.
“Dude, you’re really not my type,” Kane said.
I finally opened my eyes and realized it was him I snuggled up to and not Sophia.
“s**t, sorry. I guess the hazard of sharing a bed. Where did she go?”
“Shower, I think I will go join her.”
“Lucky asshole!”
He didn’t even respond, just rolled out of bed and walked into the bathroom. I wasn’t even going to try. She hasn’t forgiven me completely.
“Jax, I’m nervous about this witch.”
“Me too. But if she can help us, we have to.”
“Sophia has requested that you join us in the shower.” Kane mind linked.
