Kane’s POV
Last night with Sophia was nothing short of amazing and then when I joined her in the shower and she marked me, it was euphoric. River had never been so happy. That hole in my heart from my parent’s death is slowly getting better because of her.
I left her to go to training, but I didn’t want to. I wanted to stay in bed with her all day, but she was right. I had work to do.
She said she was going to talk with Xander, but I knew she was going to mark him as well. I can say this for sure, that little she wolf of ours has us wrapped around her little finger and we wouldn’t change it for the world.
I was just getting our group of warriors through their warmups, and we were starting sparring. Luke and I were showing them what we wanted them to do when River started pacing.
