Xander’s POV
My mom and sister had shown up and kicked Kane and me out of Sophia’s room. We didn’t want to leave her at all, but my mom was right. We needed a shower, and I had a pile of work to do. I know my dad was trying to help me out with my work, but he also still had Clark here and the council wanted to know how long it was until Sophia would be healed, so they could start their trial.
“Kane, go shower and meet me in my office when you’re done.”
