"You're mine now," it was a quiet voice and I felt something rustling against my neck. I could feel a weight above me and I struggled to move. All I wanted was a good 8 hours of uneventful and uninterrupted sleep. Was that so difficult to ask for? Apparently, it seems. I could still feel something tickling against my neck, "Doggo, stop licking me." "Doggo? Who's Doggo?" I heard a voice and I bolted upright. It was bright and I squinted before orientating myself. To my alarm, my top was unbuttoned and I realised that I was in an unfamiliar bed and an unfamiliar room. It was a really huge room, and was finely decorated with modern furniture. It was too perfect for my liking though - it was as though everything had been intentionally placed to my liking. "Ale, who's Doggo?" "My dog." I answered automatically before turning around to gape at the person beside me. He had really nice features and could easily appear in any feature commercials. His boyish face wasn't too angular, it was soft in some aspects, yet his expression could easily cut through metal. He looked amazed, "Did you just compare me to your dog?" I looked at him and scooted slowly away, "Uh huh." "Are you inching away?" "Nope." I lied and he sighed before scooping me up easily before I even had an opportunity to escape. "Well, that's the 188th time." "188th?" I repeated as he carried me easily before dumping me on the couch. His eyes drifted to my chest and I fastened my top and sat properly. There was a kitchen isle and he got behind it and whipped out a cup, "Drink?" I nodded uncertainly and he smiled thinly before placing iced tea before me. "Unsweetened?" I raised my brow as I took a sip and he nodded, "Exactly the way you like it." I grabbed my head and rubbed my temples. Everything felt really familiar, it was almost like deja vu but, how could it be? Isn't this a dream? Am I having deja vus even in my dreams? "I'm dreaming, right?" He nodded and sat opposite me. I thought for a while before asking. "Why can't I remember anything?" His eyes registered a faint glimmer of hope, "Beats me, but there's some improvements. You haven't asked this question before, or at least not so quickly. " I thought for a while and sighed, "I must have jumped, hit you with that lamp, cried and gradually... accepted this?" He nodded once, quickly and silently. "What's the longest that I've stayed here for?" "6 months." I gawked at him, "Well, that might explain why I'm so tired on the other end." "But it's getting shorter each time," he uttered before explaining the entire goings to me.
