CHAPTER THIRTY NINE 4:03 p.m. West Africa Time (10:03 a.m. Eastern Standard Time) The Skies above the Sahara Desert Near the border of Mali and Mauritania The SRT jet streaked west. Ed and Dunn were up front, sprawled out across the seats, sleeping the best they could. They were the smart ones.
