66 Ambush
While Judith found a new lab assistant back at the base, Paul and Rahu found a convenient road that traversed all the towns they decided to check out. As they both expected, the first few towns they arrived at had barely a few people surviving, their relatives and neighbors either left as Phase Five zombies or died before the disease could progress further. The few that remained, infected or not, were given directions to stay put and administered single shots of the serum Judith provided Paul and Rahu. Because the arsenal was too far and already cramped, they could not possibly take in any more people. Then they asked around about the status of the other towns. They were told that some of the other towns had become ghost towns not because they were empty but because they were now inhabite
