“How did you know all of that?” General Elvina asked Treestan. “What you said is classified information. Did you go behind my back again and stole that information?”
Treestan laughed nervously and scratched the back of his head. “No. Of course not. I won’t go behind your back again. At least not until the baby comes out.”

When he was sure that the General would not smack him, he continued, “I was gathering information about monsters and what happened to them on my own. My source is limited, but my father’s research is enough information. I just needed to confirm the legitimacy of what was written on the books.”
