As soon as Carlisle turned his eyes back to the incoming horde of nameless monstrosities, I bolted. Hesitation left me and I found myself running toward the wave of darkness. Behind me, sounds of screaming came as the others joined us to face the rushing demons. A rising anger much different from the lycanthrope rage simmered inside my chest. Pure, unbridled wrath fueled every fiber of my muscle as I swung the heavy Angelic sword with both my arms.
