The Moon Goddess Judgment

980 Words
The world fell silent. Every warrior… Every elder… Every shadow beast… Dropped to one knee. A breathtaking woman descended from the silver portal, her flowing robes woven from moonlight itself. Her silver hair floated like liquid starlight, and her radiant eyes held the wisdom of countless centuries. The very air shimmered with divine power. The High Priestess pressed her forehead to the ground. “My Goddess…” “We are blessed by Your presence.” The Moon Goddess smiled gently. “Rise.” Her voice was soft, yet it echoed across every mountain, every kingdom, every soul. One by one, the wolves slowly stood. Only Nysera remained frozen. She couldn’t move. Couldn’t breathe. The divine woman turned toward her. “My child.” Tears filled Nysera’s eyes. “You…” “…are the Moon Goddess?” The woman nodded. “I am.” The Shadow Emperor tightened his grip on his black sword. “I wondered how long it would take for you to appear.” The Moon Goddess looked at him with sorrow instead of hatred. “You’ve carried your anger for a thousand years.” “It is time to let it go.” He laughed bitterly. “Let it go?” “I watched the woman I loved choose another.” “I watched your precious kingdom reject me.” “I watched them call me a monster.” His crimson aura erupted violently. “You made me this way!” The Moon Goddess shook her head. “No.” “You became what you chose to become.” Nysera stepped forward. “My Goddess…” “Is he telling the truth?” The Moon Goddess looked into her eyes. “There is truth…” “…and there are lies.” Nysera’s heart pounded. “Did he love my mother?” “He believed he did.” “But love does not demand possession.” “It does not seek revenge.” “It does not destroy innocent lives.” The Shadow Emperor’s expression darkened. “Enough!” Black lightning burst from his body. The sacred temple trembled once more. “I have listened to your lectures for centuries.” “Today…” “…I end your prophecy forever.” He raised his sword toward the heavens. Dark clouds swallowed the Blood Moon. The portal behind him expanded. Thousands… No. Hundreds of thousands… Of shadow wolves poured into the valley. Even the bravest warriors felt fear. Master Rowan whispered, “This isn’t an army…” “It’s an invasion.” Draven slowly climbed to his feet despite the wound across his chest. He stood beside Nysera. “So…” “This is our final battle.” Kael walked to her other side. His armor was shattered. Blood covered his hands. Yet his golden eyes burned with determination. “I owe you more than an apology.” “I owe you my life.” Cassian stepped forward next. Lucien followed. One by one, every Alpha in the allied kingdoms gathered behind Nysera. No one spoke. They didn’t need to. Their actions said everything. They had chosen their Queen. The Moon Goddess smiled proudly. “This…” “…is why I chose you.” Nysera looked around at the warriors standing behind her. “They’re risking everything.” “Because you gave them hope.” The Goddess gently touched the Moon Crown resting on Nysera’s head. “But your journey…” “…isn’t over.” A brilliant silver light engulfed the crown. Ancient symbols appeared across its surface. “The Moon Crown has accepted you.” “But one final seal remains.” Nysera frowned. “What seal?” “The Crown cannot reach its true power…” “…until the Queen chooses her eternal mate.” The battlefield froze. Kael’s heart stopped. Draven remained silent, though his gaze never left Nysera. Cassian lowered his eyes. The Shadow Emperor burst into laughter. “Perfect.” “Even destiny cannot decide.” The Moon Goddess spoke firmly. “The choice cannot be forced.” “It must come from her heart.” Nysera looked at Kael. She remembered the pain. The rejection. The humiliation. Then she looked at Draven. She remembered the kindness. The unwavering faith. The man who stood in front of her without hesitation, willing to die to protect her. Tears blurred her vision. She wasn’t ready. Not yet. “I…” Before she could finish.. The Shadow Emperor slammed his sword into the ground. The earth split apart. A massive pillar of black fire erupted beneath the Moon Goddess. The entire battlefield screamed. “My Goddess!” The divine light faded. When the flames disappeared… The Moon Goddess was gone. Only a single silver feather drifted slowly to the ground. The Shadow Emperor smiled triumphantly. “Now…” “There is no one left to save you.” The silver feather landed in Nysera’s palm. The moment she touched it… A voice echoed inside her heart. “Do not fear, my child…” “The greatest power has never been the Crown…” “It has always been you.” Nysera slowly closed her fingers around the feather. When she opened them again… The feather had transformed into a radiant silver key. Master Rowan gasped. “The Celestial Key…” Lucien’s face drained of color. “No…” “It actually exists.” Nysera looked at the glowing key in confusion. “What does it unlock?” Before anyone could answer… The Shadow Emperor whispered with genuine fear for the first time in a thousand years. “The Gate of Eternity.” His eyes widened. “You must never open it.” The silver key suddenly flew from Nysera’s hand and pointed toward the deepest chamber beneath the Moon Temple. Then, a booming voice echoed through the mountain: “The Final Trial awaits the Moon Queen.”
