“Puppy.” Xavier kisses my neck as I try and melt myself more into the bed trying to make my greatest escape from his addictive lips. His arms snake around my waist pulling me up to him as he peeks at my fake sleeping face. “Your not sleeping.” “But I want to.” I whisper to him as he laughs kissing my cheeks. “Come on baby .” He whines pulling me to stand up making me sigh turning so I was looking at him. “You seem bored?” I smile as he nods. “Very much. You have been sleeping all night.” He smiles as I raise my eyebrow touching his face where he was forming a bruise as he wince. “What happened?” I ask as his smile never Faultiers shaking his head. “Nothing to worry about princess. It’s taken care of.” His favorite line, a line I’ve gotten use to over the few months as I nod at him. “Have you eaten? I can cook breakfast.” I smile at him as he nods sighing. “Good, seeing you have made me forgotten that I was hungry.” He kisses my face as we walk into his kitchen and I start cooking. He sat at the island talking on the phone, well more like yelled and demanded at whoever else was on the other line as I hummed to myself. Sometimes I felt bad for him because when I say tense, I meant it. That was him almost 24/7. I wouldn’t be able to handle it. “What you worrying that pretty little head about?” He whispers wrapping his arm around me as I smile leaning into his touch. “My man.” I whisper back as he kisses my head. “Well stop it. Worry about school.” He says stepping away so that I could maneuver over to get breakfast on the plate. “Did you decide on college?” “Yes. I’m just waiting on them to send letters.” I smile as he nods. “My overall goal is to study abroad.” “Like Not here?” He ask as I nod slowly. “That is what abroad means my love.” I laugh cleaning up the pots and utensils. “What made you come down to that decision?” He ask irritation on his voice. “Always been my dream. Italy, Greece, Germany. I’ve always wanted to go.” I dry my hands turning to him and I could tell that idea was dead to him. “I know that’s not ideal for you bu-“ “What you just want to leave?” He growls standing but I don’t give him the satisfaction of showing him my feeling or trying to comfort him. “Xavier, I cant change my dream just because I met you.” I explain to him taking my plate and putting it on the island next to his. “So you can get mad and throw a fit or sit here and eat with me and we can talk like adults.” “I’m not a child, Jade.” He points and I nod. “But you act like one.” I sit next to him as he sits down. “You have the whole world at your feet. I wasn’t raised like that. You can go on trips whenever you want, I-“ “Okay, so let me take you to all those countries.” He shrugs as I roll my eyes. “You know it’s nothing but a word puppy.” “And what if you have to come back urgently, cutting our vacation?” I glare at him as he looks at me surprised. “Why are you fighting me on this? If you can go as you please why not just come visit me?” “Because.” He grumbles finishing his food quickly before slouching over and I know I’ve won. “You’re Right.” “Thank you.” I nod. “And it’s just a possibility that I might get in, okay?” “Yeah but, I won’t wake up to you everyday.” He whines. “You don’t wake up to me everyday now.” I laugh at him. “But you will be far Jade.” He sighs getting up and standing between my legs. “My little princess will be off on her own traveling the world, and I just want you to know you won’t be going alone.” “I figured that much.” I smile wrapping my arms around his waist. “Now let’s go get ready for school.” • “Hey.” I giggle hugging Hazel as she and Theo leaned against his car smoking. “Hey kiddo.” Theo ruffles my hair kissing my forehead before walking over to Xavier as they talked in private. “What you smiling for?” Hazel pats my cheeks as I blush. “Nothing, Xavier and I had a heated conversation about studying abroad, but he came to his own compromise about it.” I smirk as she laughs. “Poor guy. So use to being in control of everything.” Hazel laughs. “I submitted my application to the third one you sent me so hopefully one of them pick us both.” “I wouldn’t want to do it with anyone else.” I smile at her as the bell rings. Hazel and I walk up to the school hand in hand not waiting for the two scheming boys. I get to class sitting in my seat just as the bell rings smiling. Xavier is going to get suspended again for all the detentions he gets and all the ones he never show up to. As the teacher starts Xavier walks in taking his seat which the teacher doesn’t acknowledge him at this point knowing he doesn’t listen. We get through class quietly thankfully because the teacher was teaching some really good s**t today. “You okay?” He ask as the bell rings and I smile at him. “Yeah why wouldn’t I be?” I grab my bag as he smiles. “Figured you’d be upset from this morning.” He shrugs as I shake my head walking out of class with him in tow. “Nope, I’m not upset.” I take his hand in mine winking at him. “You two makes me sick.” Theo gags stuffing his hand in his pocket groaning. “Why is it I need another cigarette?” “Because we are making you sick.” I gag as he smirks looking over at Hazel who was making out with her girlfriend Jules instead of on her phone. “See, now that’s hot.” “I hate you.” I roll my eyes kissing Xavier before softly pulling Poor Hazel off of Jules as she pouts and Hazel winks at her. “Later Baby.” She waves walking with me. “You two are the cutest.” I giggle as she smiles blushing. “I know.”
