Episode #2:

The next morning when you woke up you stretched and rolled out of bed, yawning loudly as you reached the bathroom. Your dorm room had a double bed and a small desk with a closet full of clothes to change into. A large window provided enough sunlight for most people to wake up and start the day. You brushed your teeth and washed your face before heading back to your room to get changed. You grabbed your bag and headed downstairs to meet up with your roommates. You found them sitting at the table eating breakfast. You sat down across from them and started eating your food. “So, how was your first day?” Hunk asked. You swallowed hard. “Not too bad, I guess,” you responded with a shrug. Hunk and Pidge exchanged knowing looks before speaking up, asking, “How long have you guys been friends?” they looked curious. You shrugged again and answered, “Well, we just met yesterday actually” you finished, shrugging a little again. Pidge laughed and said, “It seems like you are used to that!” she pointed out. “That means you have been hanging around with Keith a lot. He is such a drama queen”. You chuckled and agreed as you thought about how protective and overprotective he was. “If I remember correctly he doesn’t seem to show a lot of emotions, huh? How does that work anyway?” she asked curiously. “Uh yeah it is a bit of an adjustment” you admitted honestly. You didn’t want to lie to her but you also didn’t want to tell her the truth either. “But I think he is just really shy and doesn’t know how to express himself” you explained. “Well, I hope you guys get along well,” Hunk said smiling. “Maybe you can take Keith out for ice cream later! He loves sweets!” he smiled excitedly. “Yeah, who wouldn’t love ice cream, right?” you added. Your conversation drifted between the three of you talking about all kinds of random topics until the bell rang indicating the end of breakfast. The two of you walked to class chatting about different activities and the best way to get rid of stress from work. As soon as you entered the classroom you saw Keith sitting at his usual spot. He turned to look at you and gave you a small wave before he returned to reading. This guy, this guy you barely knew, has been your roommate since the beginning of the year and he has had friends since then? How do you think that is going to work? Will you be forced to share a dorm room or will you be able to have a room of your own at least? How long are you going to have to live with him anyways? What if you get paired up with someone else in your group? Are you going to get teased again? Oh god, are you seriously worried about all these questions right now? After class, you decided to go d find Keith since it was the last free period before classes start for the day and you figured it would be good practice. Walking through the hallways you spotted him talking to another person, his arms wrapped tightly around their shoulders as they spoke, gesturing wildly while the taller of the two laughed at whatever the other was saying. You watched as Keith pulled away and glanced down at the shorter male before whispering something in his ear, making them chuckle and blush in embarrassment. You stopped in your tracks as a small grin spread across your lips. Keith is gay. He likes guys. He's not straight. After all, you've noticed his body language and facial expressions. He's gay but you're not sure if he knows it yet. You couldn't believe what you had just seen. Is he interested in guys or is he just flirting with the first person that catches his eye? Wait, no, you shouldn't judge him by his appearance. That's just stupid. You shook your head and tried focusing back on the task at hand; finding your roommate. Eventually, you managed to reach the right hallway where your dorm is located. You pushed open the door carefully so that it wouldn’t slam against anything, which thankfully wasn’t needed considering the state of this room. It seemed more like Keith's room than yours judging by the clutter everywhere. There was a mess of books and papers scattered all over your floor, making it look more like a tornado came through instead of a typical teenager's room. Your eyes scanned the walls, searching for any clues as to where your roommate would usually hang up posters. "He should be in his closet’ you thought to yourself. It was kind of ironic given how he always seemed to leave his stuff lying around. As you got closer to the closet, you finally spotted one of those posters hanging up, and you smiled slightly as you saw it was the poster from the night before that you showed him. You walked towards the closet and grabbed onto the handle of the door. Pulling it open, you peered inside the closet, only to see nothing. It was empty. You closed the door, trying to hold back a sigh of disappointment. If only he had some sort of clue as to where he would keep his stuff… You began looking around the room, looking for any clues that might give you clues as to where he would be hiding. As you searched around the room, you found that his computer wasn't anywhere near his desk or closet. Not even in the drawer where he kept pens. You continued to search throughout the rest of the room in hopes of finding something out of place that might help you discover Keith better. But you weren't doing much. You just searched and you couldn't stop thinking about what your roommate had said last night about how his first day wasn't too bad because Keith had been so nice. "Is he ever not?" You questioned out loud. "He has probably never spoken to a girl in his entire existence. It must suck". You were still annoyed about the whole situation. You just want to know where he hid everything. You groaned as you fell backward onto the bed, falling asleep almost instantly after. When you woke up a few hours later, you realized that you had fallen asleep on top of your covers. You quickly jumped off the bed and rushed to the bathroom to brush your teeth and wash your face. You put on your uniform and headed out of your room. You walked down the stairs and went outside to wait for your friends. When you arrived, you greeted the others with a smile before walking toward the cafeteria. The four of you chatted about random things during lunch before walking back to your dorm room. You were happy to spend your afternoon lounging around, watching movies, playing video games, or just talking with your friends. You spent the whole day having fun and laughing. For once in a very long time, you felt complete again. Maybe you could make your relationship with Shiro a friendship again. Although the conversation was a little awkward, it was still enjoyable. On Monday morning you packed your bags and headed to your last class of the day, which is your psychology class. You took your seat next to Hunk and Pidge, and the professor soon began class. After listening to the lecture, you began writing down notes and looking over your assignment list. You wanted to make sure that there were only one or two problems left for today. You didn't want to completely screw up. You already knew that Professor Rax was a pretty strict teacher, so being late for a test wasn't exactly good for you. As Professor Rax walked around the front of the classroom, looking at each of the students, he announced the next topic on his agenda. “So my name is Professor Rax. And let's talk about a book called The Hunger Games by Alexander J. MacGregor” he informed the class. “We're going to analyze why it is so important to the main characters and why the main character makes such an effort to become stronger and survive”. “Now let's take a quick quiz to try and pick up some information”, he stated before pulling out an envelope that held multiple tests that he prepared beforehand. “The answer for every question on here will be written on the paper, and you are going to be quizzed on those answers to the best of your abilities”. The professor then placed the quiz sheets into the envelope and handed them all out to the students. Everyone except for the two people in front of you began taking the quiz immediately to get their results. Pidge, who had a perfect score on all of the questions, immediately pulled out the sheet and started writing her name down on the test. Hunk looked at his test nervously before taking it and turning it in. Keith had a perfect score on the final quiz as well. “Very good job everyone,” Professor Rax said. He walked around behind his desk and gathered up the remaining papers. “If you don’t have any more questions please raise your hands” he instructed. Nobody raised their hands, so he sighed and continued. “Alright, class dismissed. Remember, stay in pairs if necessary!” Everyone hurriedly left the room as quickly as possible, not wanting to be stuck in a room with anyone they disliked. You, along with Hunk and Pidge made your way out of the room as well, heading toward your lockers together to pack up your belongings and go meet up with Lance and Allura, and Coran at the dining hall.
